The upcoming romantic film “Dono” will mark the Bollywood debut of Rajveer Deol, the son of actor Sunny Deol, and Paloma, the daughter of actress Poonam Dhillon. The film is directed by Sooraj Barjatya’s son, Avnish Barjatya, and is produced by Rajshri Films in association with Jio Studios.
The teaser of the film was released on Monday and gives a glimpse of the love story between Dev (Rajveer Deol) and Meghna (Paloma). Dev is the friend of the bride, while Meghna is the friend of the groom. They meet at a lavish destination wedding and fall in love amidst the festivities.
The teaser also shows that Dev is in love with the bride, but she is already married. Meghna, on the other hand, has recently broken up with her boyfriend of six years. The two strangers find comfort in each other’s company and their relationship blossoms.
The film is set against the backdrop of a big fat Indian wedding and promises to be a heartwarming love story. It is slated to release in cinemas later this year.
