His parents are Thomas Brady Sr. and Galynn Patricia Brady. Tom was raised in a Catholic family. His father is of Irish ancestry.  But his mother has Swedish, Norwegian, German and Polish roots.

After retiring from football, Tom Brady began a new career in sports broadcasting. On May 10, 2022, Fox Sports announced that Brady would become its lead color commentator.

His contract is reportedly worth $375 million over 10 years, making him the highest-paid sports commentator in history.

Brady started his broadcasting career during the 2024 UFL Championship Game.

Tom Brady was raised in a Catholic family. Later in life, he said that he considers himself more spiritual than religious.
