Joseph Garrett Duggar, also called Joe, was born on January 20, 1995. His parents are Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar. He was their seventh child. Joseph studied at home instead of going to school. This is called homeschooling.
When Joseph was young, he had chores at home. His family called these chores “jurisdictions.” In 2004, one of his jobs was to collect laundry. In 2011, he worked outside and helped with the fireplace. He started a relationship with Kendra Caldwell in 2017.
Joseph’s family used a buddy system. In this system, older children took care of younger ones. They helped them dress, eat, and bathe. Later, the family changed this into buddy teams. After that, Joseph no longer had to take care of a buddy.
